Treating the wall surface base is like “laying a foundation.” Only when the wall is flat, dry, firm, clean, and has a neutral pH can subsequent wall materials such as wallpaper, wall cloth,vinyl wall coverings be firmly adhered and maintain long-lasting aesthetics. Untreated walls are prone to issues like material peeling, bubbling, or mold.
Flat: Use a two-meter straightedge to check the wall’s flatness
Dry: Test the wall’s dryness with a moisture meter before construction.
